We always dreamed of having a beach house… we just never imagined it could be in Turks & Caicos! We were here on vacation for Joanie’s surprise 40th birthday trip and stumbled on a heavily marked-down duplex that needed everything. Since Drew is a homebuilder, we weren’t frightened away like so many others had been. We came home and agreed to pray over it for two months — plenty of time for the Lord to take it off the market if it wasn’t His plan for us. Two months and one minute later, we called back. It was still for sale — and we were the last people to even look at it. We took that as a sign, snapped it up, remodeled it top to bottom, added on, and now love every bit of it.
